Quick update on WA.

So I've decided to give up my previous niche, and join Affiliate bootcamp. The previous niche was too broad, I guess. I intend to start the toplist site just for fun, but I'm also starting a site to document my business adventures! I've wanted to start that even before I joined WA, but I thought doing something I could write about on a daily basis that could possibly be viral might be fun. I'm sure it will be, for now though, I'm going through the affiliate bootcamp training.

I'm loving life right now!

OMG, you guys! I joined Wealthyaffiliate.com on Wednesday night! Lol don't worry, I'm not going to spam you guys with affiliate links. I don't have them yet, and the link I just put up isn't a referral one. Hey, I'm learning how to use nofollow now, Lol! Anyway, Wealthyaffiliate is a training center for affiliate marketing. I joined because when I create my shopify stores, I want to know how to market them, join affiliate programs in the niche, etc. The training has you go through and create a site, so I created a site called Daily Top Lists. It doesn't have any posts yet so I'm not going to link to it. I intend to get the domain next month, for now, I'm hosted on a subdomain. Anyway, I've had so much fun commenting and chatting and asking questions!!! I've pretty much buried myself in affiliate marketing blogs, newsletters, etc. You guys know that I love creating sites, and I absolutely love blogging! I'm going to have so much fun with this. Oh and in about 3-4 months I should be able to make my first store. I'm so excited for what the year has for me!

I won't be migrating to SunSed.

Mostly because they have a limit of 10000 posts per site. I have almost 2000 here in my archives alone! Not to mention my linkblog, that has over 2000. I need to look at Posthaven, and that will be the last one I look at for a while. Someone on Gab told me they were developing a blog platform. This is good because we need more new platforms in the world! Lol, I told the person that if he gave me everything, I'd pay $120! Everything includes lifestreaming features, the ability to post podcasts, the ability to add custom widgets, support of the linkblog format, and imports from Blogger. I just wish they'd hurry up and get done, so I could test it. I told him I want to be one of the beta testers!

Thoughts from the past couple days.

I watched the inauguration on Friday! I did like Trump's speech a lot. I managed to watch some of the inaugural parade as well. During this time, I was waiting for Lavabit to relaunch! It went live around 2 something. Just when I took a break to go watch the parade, the resurrection happened! Lol I guess that's what happens when I walk away. Services get launched. Lol, I only wish!
I'm testing a new blogging platform! It's called SunSed, and I really like it! I'm thinking I'll be ready to leave Blogger in a couple months, when they release their V3 and add Blogger migration! I'll also be able to restart my podcast, which I've been wanting to do for several months now.
I created my first Subreddit, it's called /r/blogplatforms! I'm always interested in finding new blogging platforms and testing them, so I made this Subreddit to discuss that.

Thursday Lister: ideas.

I've been trying to keep an ideas journal lately. I had a goal to write 10 ideas per day, but I had a hard time getting to 10. This is a list that I wrote today.
  1. I've finally decided on simplrerssreader.com. I really like the interface!
  2. I've been dreaming a lot more recently. Not sure why this is, but the past couple nights I've had dreams. It's very rare for me to dream. I usually do it about once every 2-3 months.
  3. This makes me want to start a dream journal, which is very easy to do in Penzu!
  4. As much as I don't like writing in rich text, I do love Penzu!
  5. I want to migrate my blogs somewhere, but I'm really not sure where yet. I'm testing different services, which seems to be the theme around here lately!

Grocery shopping and pre-flight!

Melissa and I went grocery shopping today. I didn't want to do it on Friday, because I'll be watching the inaugural parade. I can't believe there are only 2 days left! I'm still cleaning out my email in preparation for the big resurrection! The thing is, the pressure is on to get it done now, because well... it happens Friday.
Earlier today, I got involved in this Reddit thread, and had fun scaring pharisees! Tomorrow, I intend to clean out emails from morning to evening, and try to decide between 2 RSS readers!

Blog tweaking, and counting down the days!

I did some blog tweaking over the weekend. I've changed the template, and added Disqus and Linkwithin.
I've started cleaning out my email, in preparation for the flipping the big change switch on Friday! I can't believe there's only 4 days left! I got all my sent items cleaned out today, tomorrow I'll start with trash and spam. Spam will be the quickest, as there's only 159 messages in that folder. While I was cleaning out sent items, I ended up keeping 160 support exchanges that I'll forward over. As a general rule, I keep support exchanges.

The final countdown has arrived!

Until January 20th, that is! yay for the final countdown. It isn't the inauguration I'm so excited about, although I'm interested to see what Trump says in his speech. No, it's the impending Lavabit resurrection! Lol, I told Melissa when we were on the way to lunch this afternoon, that I just couldn't wait anymore! Heh, I can, I just don't want to wait anymore. Anyway, it's now time for me to go to bed so I can get up early. Maybe I'll do a Periscope stream tomorrow! Lol yeah, I've been testing Periscope and actually got it to work.

Why I changed my Blogger display name.

About a week and a half ago, I changed my Gab username from webgurl, (the username I use online,) to @hope Why did I do this? Well the username noelle was taken, and that's my legal given name. I decided to use Hope, because if I were to change my name, if I could actually get away with that, it's what I'd change it to. I then decided I should try to start using that online. I still use my first name with the username, if there's a place for it. For now, I've changed the display name to be more in line with my current online identity. However, I intend to register a new domain as soon as this one's ready for renewal, and that will be in May.

Haircut pics!

I was going to post these a couple days ago, but just didn't get around to it. I got a new haircut on Friday, and I had Melissa take pictures. I'm going to try to upload them here, but if I can't, I'll link to them on Imgur, where I uploaded them to post to Gab.

I had a clog.

Oh yeah I did. My toylet was clogged earlier today. I didn't have a plunger, so I had to call Century21, and they called a plumber. Yeah, a plumber, just to fix a clog! The toylet was acting up all day yesterday, but I thought it was just the pipes being slow. We're experiencing some snowy weather here, so I thought the pipes may have backed up. It didn't overrun though, so I didn't think anything of it.

The resurrection is at hand, or the long wait is over!

Yesterday, I fell asleep, and just as it happened on 4/16/2014, I woke up to my search going absolutely crazy! It was going crazy because of this Reddit thread, which linked to this site, currently, that's a countdown page. In 19 days, it won't be. The thread was about Lavabit coming back! Yeah, it's going to happen in 19 days! I've known for about 8-9 months now that this day was close, I just didn't know exactly when. I don't think anyone did really. I've been waiting to post something for nearly 4 years now. It's the verses in John 11 concerning the resurrection of Lazarus.
11 Now a certain man was sick, Lazarus of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. 2 It was that Mary who anointed the Lord with fragrant oil and wiped His feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick. 3 Therefore the sisters sent to Him, saying, “Lord, behold, he whom You love is sick.” 4 When Jesus heard that, He said, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.” 5 Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. 6 So, when He heard that he was sick, He stayed two more days in the place where He was. 7 Then after this He said to the disciples, “Let us go to Judea again.” 8 The disciples said to Him, “Rabbi, lately the Jews sought to stone You, and are You going there again?” 9 Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world.10 But if one walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him.”11 These things He said, and after that He said to them, “Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up.” 12 Then His disciples said, “Lord, if he sleeps he will get well.” 13 However, Jesus spoke of his death, but they thought that He was speaking about taking rest in sleep. 14 Then Jesus said to them plainly, “Lazarus is dead.15 And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, that you may believe. Nevertheless let us go to him.” 16 Then Thomas, who is called the Twin, said to his fellow disciples, “Let us also go, that we may die with Him.” 17 So when Jesus came, He found that he had already been in the tomb four days. 18 Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, about two miles away. 19 And many of the Jews had joined the women around Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother. 20 Now Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met Him, but Mary was sitting in the house. 21 Now Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. 22 But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You.” 23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” 24 Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” 25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” 27 She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.” 28 And when she had said these things, she went her way and secretly called Mary her sister, saying, “The Teacher has come and is calling for you.” 29 As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly and came to Him. 30 Now Jesus had not yet come into the town, but was in the place where Martha met Him. 31 Then the Jews who were with her in the house, and comforting her, when they saw that Mary rose up quickly and went out, followed her, saying, “She is going to the tomb to weep there.” 32 Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.” 33 Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled. 34 And He said, “Where have you laid him?” They said to Him, “Lord, come and see.” 35 Jesus wept. 36 Then the Jews said, “See how He loved him!” 37 And some of them said, “Could not this Man, who opened the eyes of the blind, also have kept this man from dying?” 38 Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it. 39 Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.” 40 Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?”41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.42 And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.”43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!”44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”
43 and 44 are the key verses. I've had this ready and waiting for nearly 4 years now, and there wasn't a day I believed it wouldn't happen. I got impatient that it was taking so long, but I believed what was said in Triangulation 125, back in October of 2013. Perhaps because when I say something I usually always follow through with it, that I believed the same thing would be done in this case.
