135 things in 3 years!

It's now day 38! That means it's time for me to start the big list of goals that I've been preparing for well, like way more than 38 days now... In the post for Audiomo day 28, I said, (because it was an Audiomo recording,) and wrote, that I would be starting this list on 8/5. The list now contains 135 items, therefore I'm now giving myself until 8/5/2018 to finish as many of the items on the list as possible. I'm not expecting that I'll finish all the items on the list, I'm not expecting that I'll finish 80% of them, but I'd like to get it to around 50-60%. Of course, I intend to blog about them as I complete them, (and some of them, I'll blog about while they're in process.) So, without further delay, here's my list, in categorized HTML format:

  1. Look into finding a new church.

  2. Become a member of my church.

  3. Find a way to serve in church.

  4. Go to a church conference.

  5. Health:
  6. Do the 30 in 30 challenge, 30 minutes of exercise for 30 days.

  7. Do a 30 day yoga challenge.

  8. Get down to 145 LBs.

  9. Spend at least 20 minutes outside 3-4 times a week in the summer.

  10. Take myself off sleep medication.

  11. Find natural ways to promote sleep, (drinking tea at night, etc.)

  12. Be in bed by 12 every night for 30 days.

  13. Be up by 7 every morning for 30 days.

  14. Develop a morning routine.

  15. Develop an evening routine.

  16. Develop a skincare routine.

  17. Go back to the Chiropractor.

  18. Make a dentist appointment and go to the dentist at least twice during the 3 years.

  19. Have my hearing tested.

  20. Go to counseling.

  21. Blogging:
  22. Post 100 links to my linkblog in 24 hours, and allow others to take the challenge if they want.

  23. Post 200 links to my linkblog in 48 hours, and allow others to take the challenge if they want.

  24. Do blog 365 again, starting
    January 1st, 2016.

  25. Participate in BEDM, (blog everyday in May,) in 2017 and 2018.

  26. Participate in the write 31 days blogging challenge, ( in 2015, 2016, and 2017.

  27. Start at least 4 more blogs.

  28. Comment on 100 random blog posts.

  29. Delete both my Tumblr accounts.

  30. Find an alternative to WordPress.

  31. Social media/internet:
  32. Delete my Facebook account.

  33. Try at least 50 of the sites on my "sites to try" list.

  34. Clean out my email archives, trash, and spam folder.

  35. Take a free online class.

  36. Join an online book club.

  37. Find a way to make money from blogging, writing, podcasting, or streaming.

  38. Stream every day for 30 days.

  39. Find a good password manager, (one that will sync across multiple browsers.)

  40. Create 10 subverses on and submit to each one at least once a week.

  41. Create at least 10 subreddits, and submit to each one at least once a week.

  42. Find and start using an RSS reader again.

  43. Change my email address from Gmail to

  44. Start a podcast.

  45. Participate in an audio challenge during each of the 3 years.

  46. Start a discussion email list.

  47. Find and start using a VPN.

  48. Join Hulu.

  49. Download Kindle for PC.

  50. Faith:
  51. Pray every morning and evening for 30 days.

  52. Pray for my future husband everyday for 30 days.

  53. Read the bible in a year.

  54. Start a bible journal.

  55. Start a prayer journal.

  56. Do cleansing streams retreat again. (

  57. Find and join a bible study of some kind, (most likely a home fellowship.)

  58. Fast at least once.

  59. Share my testimony.

  60. Join an online bible study.

  61. Challenges:
  62. Do a 30 day journaling challenge each year of the 3 years.

  63. Build a simple webapp in 30 days.

  64. Do 30 days of lists once a year.

  65. Learn a new word every day for 30 days each of the 3 years.

  66. Keep a "my day in six words" journal for 6 months.

  67. Say yes to everything for a day.

  71. To buy:
  72. Get a new recliner.

  78. Get a new keyboard for my phone.

  79. Get a new Christmas tree, and put it up at least twice during the 3 years.

  82. Buy one item on Craigslist, and sell one item, (this can't be the same thing I bought.)

  83. Buy a new recipe book and have my caregiver cook some of the recipes in it.

  84. Buy at least half of the things on my "to buy" list.

  85. Lists/writing:
  86. Write a personal mission statement.

  87. Answer the 20 questions you should ask yourself every Sunday for 2 months.

  88. Do some of the 100 journaling ideas

  89. Make a list of 100 things that make me happy.

  90. Make a list of 100 of my favorite songs.

  91. Make a list of 100 quotes that inspire me.

  92. Make a list of inspirational things, one thing for each letter of the alphabet.

  93. Make a list of songs to be played at my funeral.

  94. Make a list of 100 of the best experiences in my life.

  95. Make a list of words that describe me.

  96. Make a list of 100 things I like about myself.

  97. Make a list of people who inspire me.

  98. Make a list of 100 women little girls should admire, instead of super models or actresses.

  99. Make a list of things that each person in my life has taught me.

  100. Make a to-do list every day for 30 days.

  101. Make a list of my favorite words.

  102. Make a list of 100 things I know very little about, then learn at least 3 things about each of them.

  103. Make a list of my favorite websites.

  104. Make a list of 100 things I would do if I couldn't fail.

  105. Make a list of 101 things I've accomplished prior to this list.

  106. Make a list of 100 things I'm thankful for, and add 3 things to it every day for 6 months, (the months don't have to be consecutive, but the days do.)

  107. Make a list of bible verses and/or passages I want to memorize and pray on, and memorize and pray them.

  108. Food/drink:
  109. Try 20 new foods.

  110. Try at least 5 coffee blends.

  111. Try 10 tea flavors.

  112. Make Popsicles.

  113. Make salsa from scratch.

  114. Make jalapeƱo poppers.

  115. Make ice cream.

  116. Make my own birthday cake twice during the 3 years.

  117. Giving:
  118. Buy a gift for a Christmas tree angel.

  119. Give at least 3 Kiva loans.

  120. Participate in Operation Christmas Child at least twice during the 3 years.

  121. Participate in at least 3 campaigns on

  126. Send a care package to a soldier overseas.

  129. Donate to a different charity monthly for 1 year running, (there can and probably will be breaks in between.)

  130. Random:
  131. Focus on at least 2 semi-big tasks a day for 6 months, (cleaning out email, for instance.)

  132. Get a tattoo

  133. Shave my head.

  134. Take up a hobby.

  135. Make a will, and a living will.

  136. Go camping at least once.

  137. Read 100 books.

  138. Watch 25 TED talks.

  139. Watch 20 documentaries.

  140. Plan my 35th birthday celebration.

  141. Set up automatic billpay on at least 2 of my bills.

  142. Learn to make soap.

  143. Adopt a cat.

  146. Write a letter to myself to open in 3 years, (after this challenge is over.)

  147. Donate $5 to charity for every goal I don't complete.

  148. Make a new list after the 3 years are over.
