Everyone I called to see if they could take me to church happened to be sick today, so I managed to live stream the service. For a while, I wasn’t able to log into this account to post to the blog, I had to use my phone to verify access, then change my password. I got 2 “your password has been changed” emails, so I think my account was compromised just before I went to use it. I managed to quickly change the password, (and hopefully it’s a secure enough one so that my account won’t be compromised.) Now I have to change my other passwords, but I’ll do that in the morning.

When do you begin taking down your holiday decorations? What is the latest you’ve left them up? Usually I take the tree, (and all the other stuff,) down a couple days after NewYears. The latest I’ve left them up is probably until about a week after, but usually no later than that. My mom used to like to leave Christmas decorations up all year, (including the stockings, and pretty much everything else except for the tree.) As far as I know she doesn’t do that anymore, and I didn’t see a point in it when she used to do it. Via That’s my answer.

I had a good Christmas with my family yesterday. I got a couple things I didn’t need, and most of the things on my list that I asked for, so that was cool. I’m still getting over my cold, I didn’t really sleep the night before Christmas eve, (because even though I took stuff, I was way too congested,) so I was pretty much out of it the next day. But I felt better on Christmas, and it was actually the first time in years that I haven’t had a headache on Christmas day. Dad and I brought all the stuff upstairs last night, around 5. Usually I don’t go home that early on Christmas, but I think he thought I did for some reason.) The good thing about leaving early was that mom and grandma were going to start cleaning the house, and I really didn’t want to be there for that.

I’ll be leaving in a while to go to my parent’s house to stay the night, (as per tradition.) But I thought I’d wish everyone a Merry Christmas first! I haven’t been feeling well the past 2-3 days, and that explains the lack of posting. When you’re not all there, and can’t come up with something to write about, well it’s probably not worth posting at all. I hope this is just a cold, so hopefully it will go away in a day or two! Anyway, I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas! I should be back sometime tomorrow night, I’ll have access to the internet through my phone, but it’s a bit hard to blog post from that.

Last night, I didn’t get to bed until like 12, and the night before, it was like 12:30. I thinkk I need to start going to bed earlier, because this is causing me to get up later, which I really don’t like! We did get snow yesterday, not sure how much we got here, but my parent’s had a couple inches at their house. It’s all melted now though, but mom said it’s supposed to snow again for Christmas. Snow for Christmas would be nice, but my parent’s literally live on a mountain, so it’s kind of hard to get everyone up there if that happens.

It was supposed to start today, and we’re supposed to have snow by tomorrow. My parent’s already have a little bit of snow at their house. My sister and I were supposed to go shopping again today, but now my niece is sick so we didn’t. We’re planning to go again on Friday, but that’s the last time I’ll probably be able to go before Christmas. If I don’t go before then, (or if my niece and my sister are still sick,) then what’s done will have to do for this year. I’m going to do most of my Christmas shopping online next year, (I only bought a couple things online this year,) the only thing I can’t do online are stocking stuffers, but that’s solved by one trip to the store, (not 2 or 3.)

By family, I mean mom, dad, and my half brother, his wife, and his 2 kids. They took they’re kids to Sunday school class, and since today was the day of their performance, they went up on stage with the others, (even though they hadn’t practiced.) They were just singing a couple Christmas songs, so it wasn’t that big of a deal. Unfortunately, our pastor was out of town this weekend, and even though the guy who filled in for him normally does a good job preaching, he was literally all over the place today. Since our pastor’s son, (who normally leads worship,) was also out of town, we had a different worship leader. After church, we all went to have Mexican food for lunch. After I got home, I got this weird blizard warning notification on my phone. Apparently, it isn’t supposed to snow here, but it’s supposed to like pretty much all around us.

We did a lot of eating, and we sang a lot of Christmas songs. It was definitely a lot of fun! Unfortunately, my sister’s still not feeling well, so we didn’t go shopping this morning. We’ll probably be doing that on Monday after healing rooms, (again.) Although hopefully this time, we’ll have less of a time limit, because Christmas shopping in a hurry isn’t the most fun thing to do, especially if you’re like me and you really have no idea what to get anyone. Hopefully I’ll have all my shopping done after Monday

My sister and I were supposed to go shopping tomorrow morning, before I go to the healing rooms Christmas party. My sister is sick though, so I’m not sure if we’re going to go, not only that, but this means I’m not sure when I’ll finish my shopping. She said she’d let me know how she’s feeling tomorrow, otherwise I just have the potluck to go to. We were going to have to hurry, because the potluck is at 1, which means I need to be back here around 12:30. We were going to start at 9 in the morning, so I could hopefully get my shopping all done, (I need another gift for mom, possibly another one for dad, and some stocking stuffers.)

I managed to tell my friend that she should probably go back to church on Monday night. She stopped going to church last summer, and ever since then she’s had a lot of things happen. Before I could explain that she could get lots of prayer and support at church, (and it would probably focus her a bit more,) she hung up on me. She called this morning, (before she came over, and I apollogised to her, so we aren’t fighting or anything. All that kept coming to my mind while I was on the phone with her that night, was that “she should probably go back to church.” It was 11 last night, and I was ready to go to bed, so I just decided to skip the post.

Shopping didn’t really go so well today, and for some reason there was a time limit. I got a couple of the things I was looking for, but not all of them, (and I still have to get stocking stuffers.) We’re going again on Friday morning, at like 9, before I go to the healing rooms potluck. Healing rooms went fine, but someone came in for prayer way too late, which didn’t put us leaving church until like 1:20, and I was supposed to be home by 1:30. There were other people there that needed to leave, so it wasn’t all that fun. This person was a member of our team, so I understand, but we all have other stuff to do, (and if she wasn’t a prayer team member, she would have been lectured.)

We We got their tree decorated, and I rolled and cut out lots and lots of cookies. The lady who works with my friend had a birthday yesterday, so my friend, a couple of the ladies from the house, and I went out to pizza. Either the card machine was being stupid, or Chase was just being Chase, because the pizza place couldn’t take my friend’s card. I paid for it, and she paid me back after we were done, (she did go to the ATM and get cash.) After we left there yesterday, I promptly came home and fell asleep for like 5 hours. Needless to say I forgot to call the people who take me to church to tell them I needed a ride, and I forgot to post here. I seem to have an issue with that as of late, and I’m not sure why. I’ll try to fix that next year. Blogger has also eaten a couple of my posts, so I’ve had to go back and fix them. Oh yeah, today was 2 years to the day that I realized everything that was happening with wikileaks wasn’t right. As in the financial blockade wasn’t the right way to go, and Amazon and other sites denying services was just ridiculous. Not to mention all the assassination threats, and after following all the hearings, (of course,) the swedish alligations. All that just kind of hit me suddenly on a Thursday night in December , and I went from being completely nutral to being well… not so nutral.

Until I shut the system down, then realized it. Had to start the system back up to post. The funeral went well today, it was a good service! tomorrow I’ll be at my friend’s work all day, probably until about 4, and I’ll be going to church on Sunday of course. on Monday I’ll be going to healing rooms, then my sister and I are going Christmas shopping Monday afternoon.
Thursday, December 6, 2012
My friend and her boyfriend came over to help put up my tree. After my friend’s boyfriend assembled the tree, I got to decorate it! I don’t think I could put that thing together without breaking it, plus it has lights on it that have to be tested every year. On Saturday, I’m going to my friend Kim’s work to help decorate their tree, and bake cookies with them. I’ll be doing my own baking next week, and the week after that. Tomorrow, I’ll be going to a funeral for someone in the healing rooms, I got to pray with him a little bit so I did kind of know him. He did stop coming around April of this year, which was a couple months after I officially started on the team.

Then again, I didn’t get to bed until like 1:20 this morning, but after I shut down, I realized that I forgot to post. At that point, it was way too late to go back and fix it, so I just skipped it. I was going to write this one 45 minutes ago, but I got distracted by well… Christmas music, of all things. My friend Kim sent me a link to a song done by Sellah, and I decided to look for other things, (they do a version of Oh Holy Night that’s almost the correct english version, and usually people don’t sing the correct english version, they either change the ending or sing the french lyrics.) Provided my friend and her boyfriend are feeling better than they were today when I called their house, we’ll probably be going grocery shopping tomorrow morning, and most likely we’ll be putting up my Christmas tree when we get back, so that will be fun!

Yeah, I’ve actually started my Christmas shopping! I got to pay with Square for the first time. Square is a device that sellers can plut into the bottom of their phone, and it allows them to accept credit and debit cards. Mom response to this whole thing was,” and it doesn’t steal identities?” The person told my mom that she could only see the last 4 digits of my card number, of course I know that whether I’m using Square or paying in the grocery store, if someone really wants to steal my identity, well… they can.
